Bio

With their Indie Pop Rock sound, intense lyrics, and phenomenally rare talent, it’s no wonder why The Real Easy has made a name for themselves in the local music scene.

In 2005, Rick Gamez (Lead singer/Rhythm Guitarist), started the band with a few friends as just a pastime. After composing two songs, his passion for music became unbearable, and he decided then that he needed to make his dream a reality. He named the band “The Real Easy” in hopes that it would bring about a positive flow of energy. In due time, he met Paolo Angulo (Lead Guitarist), who’s original intent was to produce Gamez’ music. After working with one another, Gamez asked Angulo to join him in writing music. Hesitant and unsure of what he was getting himself into, Angulo decided to give it a try.

Months later, Gamez and Angulo began to look for a drummer. They desired someone with intensity, passion, and drive. They found Gabriel Beltran from Uruguay, a drummer who came to the United States with dreams of making it in music. Soon after, Angulo came across Raydel Fernandez, a young bassist from Berklee School of Music, and asked him to jam out with the band. Captivated by their contemporary sound, Fernandez decided to give the band a try.

A week later, The Real Easy was playing their first show. With the collaborative effort of the four driven, passionate, and talented musicians, their show was a huge success. Since then, their fan base has been ever-growing.

On November 4th, 2009, The Real Easy released their first C.D., As We Vanish, available on any online store.
