The Real JBEZ

Music has always been an influence in my life growing up. I remember our living room doubled as a concert for many of my mom’s,Christian rock bands.Or sitting on my grandpas porch listening to him cover Merle Haggard songs.I use to play my grandpa’s records and dance to Elvis or playing air piano to Jerry Lee Lewis.
In 1986 my sister introduced me to Beastie Boys licensed to ill. I didn't know what it was but I loved it and I’d like to thank her for that because that was the beginning of JBEZ.Still to this day I can remember sitting in our tire shop watching tv and seeing all kinds of videos see the artist with all the bling. Then one day the Outkast video for Southernplayalistic and they looked like everyday people that loved to rap.I was hooked and here I am now.

My style of music is what I call everyday life music.Meaning things we do everyday,It has a lot of emotions with a hint of reggae and heavy Hip Hop I call it (HIP POP) JBEZ
