Yung-HD moved back to Atlanta at the age of 14 to start school at Pebble Brook High School where he first made himself known as a artist. ” I Started of in the band room freestyling over snares and bass drums, to me that was real music.”He met Atlanta based Group called Swag Camp back in 2008 and started producing all their Records until one day he was asked to feature and he laid down a phenominal verse that put the whole studio in awe. ” I called my pops and said yo i got flow you need to put me on.” At age 16 i dropped my first mixtape ” Smoke Muzik featuring the classic ” Cloud10″ produced by Johnny Juliano. I shot my first video we fresh featuring cameos from Papa Duck, & the Last Mr. Bigg. He also started doing shows opening up for Big Krit, Rich Boy, & Papa Duck and Later moved back to Mobile, AL and met a producer named A100Drumz and clicked with him automatically because they both shared the same love for music, together the two started “Twist Up Ent. putting on for the team everywhere they went, Yung-Hd is a upcoming star being featured on the cover of Real Talk Urban Magazine at the age of only 19 and being nominated for best new artist. Yung HD ( Born Jeffrey Jerrell Childress 10/23/1992 in Cleveland, Ohio) decided to pursue a career as a Rap artist at the tender age of 15. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia he released a project tilted Smoke Music just for his city but it expanded to outer city's and inspired him to make another project with a bigger plan behind it. He now realized he needed to release his next project worldwide so he remade smoke music with all new songs and released on ITunes and all major music outlets. This was just the beginning. Since then Yung HD has opened up shows for Rich Boy, Ricky Ross, C-Nile and many more. He has also started his own Label Twist UP Entertainment.
In 2011 Yung HD started Twist Up Entertainment with producer A1. Twist Up Entertainment is a independent recording label and elite team of artist, producers, directors, designers, managers, and entrepreneurs. Each member is a leader and has something unique and beneficial to offer aside from great music. Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, Mobile, Alabama and Cleveland, Ohio; Twist Up has developed an astonishing fan base who support every move and grows every day. From 2014 -2016 Twist Up has headlined their own shows i several metro cities and has opened for major headliners such as Rittz, Tuki Carter, Raz Simone, Twisted Insane, Three 6 Mafia, Whitney Peyton, Trinidad James and more. Their on stage performance and fan support is what sets them high above the rest. Selling completely out of merch anytime they setup a table. The future is bright for these young stars for this is only the beginning.
Recently Yung HD has released a solo project "Bars From Mars" 02/02/18 available on all major digital stores and streaming services it's gotten over 30k streams on Spotify in just the first month. and We are currently looking for shows to promote this project.
