Finally, a retaliation against the stagnant punk that tends to rule the stage these days. Self described melodic venge-core, The Reason blend powerful pop harmonies with edgy vocals and straight up honest lyrics.
Having completed two cross-Canada tours in support of their EP, Problems Associated With Running, the Southern Ontario based five-piece is quickly gaining recognition among media and fans - from their hometown of Hamilton right across Canada. With over 250 shows in the past year, including 12 dates on the Vans Warped Tour, The Reason have shared the stage with scene defining acts such as Good Riddance, Bigwig, Choke, Ten Foot Pole, Moneen and Jersey.
2004 will be a busy year for the band, as they head into the studio to record their first full-length album for Smallman Records. In addition to recording, the band will be touring the Maritimes of Canada in May and heading out to western Canada in June for the third time in the past 12 months. The Fall will see the realse of their first full-length album to be followed by countless months of touring.
