The Recovery's quest for musical excellence has caught the attention of many listeners spanning from Saint Louis to Philadelphia. Their epic rock sound is defined by thoughtful lyrics, driving rhythms and heartfelt melodies. Make an effort to see them live and it will not take long for you to understand what makes The Recovery so unique.
Currently, The Recovery is excited to be releasing their first E.P. entitled "Shadows" in June of 2008. The project was tracked in southern Illinois at Greenville College and is now being mixed and mastered at Charlie Peacock's studio in Nashville, TN. Be sure to get a copy!
History:
Mitch Meador and Jordan Mellinger had been writing songs together for several years before deciding to go to Greenville College, where they met Josiah Katz, their (ex)-keyboardist. The three continued to write at school and eventually brought on board Caleb Allensworth, who has been their drummer ever since.
