"96.3 FM WHYS Eau Claire, WI (May 20, 2009)"

“Upon a first close listen one would say that The Redding Shift's album “Goodbye To All That is a great mix of pounding rock, with a bit of blues and punk [combined] with a whole lot of grunge. But that would over-simply, as each song takes you to a new frame of mind.

[Goodbye To All That is] highlighted by dark bass lines with both soulful blues leads and thrash-it-up rock riffs behind Waits-like gravel-rough vocals. Vocal harmonies throughout range from unnervingly eerie yet intriguing; recalling Excene Cervanka and John Doe from the legendary 80's punk band “X, to the soothing tones of Cass Elliot and John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas, to Sonic Youth.
- Radio DJ "Poppa Bear"

"Dreamfield Earth Day Festival"

“The Redding Shift is a truly unique group that just flows. These three just work! Their sound is fun, eclectic and rocks! [The] original tunes are some of the best we've heard...and what they do with cover songs is all their own – and superb. We loved the performance at the Earth Day event and so did the crowd. If you want a band that entertains and keeps ya movin – this is the one!

"Rock 105.9 FM / Rock 98.3 FM - Huntsville, AL"

“Today's generation can fall in love with Abby and her bandmates in The Redding Shift. The Nashville rockers have a punkish sound that earns a spot on the iPod. - Radio DJ Chris Wright
