Bio
The Redstones are an indie rock four piece from Raleigh NC, that formed in August of 2011
Our sentiments are born from college radio and painted with the freedom of the late 80's, early 90's explosion of alternative music. Collective experience includes touring bands, playing at the CMJ, and various regional, national festivals. We believe in music that reaches down into your soul and sparks that part of our heart that we all feel when we listen to music that makes us feel "That way".
Joey Ward was a founding member and bass player in The Johnny Folsom Four, a Johnny Cash tribute band, and The Swingin Johnsons before joining The Redstones.
Eric Doyle is the former drummer of The Mercators, where he met Roberto.
Michael Morse played in the indie rock band Jack B. Quick in the 80s and 90s, and Insurgence in the 90s with Roberto. After a short stint with The Nasty Habits, and while nurturing his own Saturn V project, Michael has reunited with Roberto in The Redstones.
Roberto Morales was a founding member of the indie rock band Insurgence (80s/90s), is a current member of Milagro Saints and former guitarist of The Mercators.
We're influenced by everything from Lemonheads and Oasis to F*cked Up and Foo Fighters.
