Bio
The Reformationists create rock music with a dark soul, an intense hunger, and a ticklish underbelly. Soaring violin hooks offset raucous guitar choruses. Haunting, playful vocals add intrigue. Lyrical madness abounds. The Reformationists will root out corruption, musical or otherwise, anywhere and everywhere, in their drive to illuminate the truth of human connection. Their live show is a unique coupling of musical virtuosity and raw human emotion.
Ferg, guitar wizard and multi-talented producer/arranger, hails from Dublin, Ireland. Kat, violin prodigy and Texas native, is a member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Mimi, feline in human form, was born in NY and has traversed the continent singing in not-quite-Broadway extravaganzas. Adriane, a native of Malaysia, keeps time like nobody's business. Yoshi, clearly the coolest person in the band, holds down the bass with effortless skill. All five call New York the End and the New Beginning.
In a previous incarnation, Ferg, Kat and Mimi were featured in The Village Voice, Curve Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Gothamist.com, Ireland's Hot Press Magazine ("Hot Bands to Watch"), The Aquarian, GO NYC Magazine, She Magazine, OK Magzine Europe, and The Sun Ireland.
