BandRockClassic Rock

Tired of cover bands that all sound the same? The Remedies delivers high-energy classic rock, blues and soul from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Let the Remedies entertain your private party, corporate event, civic function, or whatever your needs may be.

When's the last time you heard a party band that didn't play "Brick House" or "Play That Funky Music White Boy"? ...Exactly! So goes the inspiration for The Remedies. Four friends and former professional musicians who convened one fall afternoon to establish a fresh breed of cover with a set-list as diverse as it is danceable.

The members are influenced by various backgrounds and styles, but all come together to provide a flavorful blend of favorite tunes from past decades. Everything from your brother's 8-track favorites to 80's Euro pop, from Motown to Memphis soul, from Texas roadhouse blues to timeless standards...every song is sure to bring back some memory and sure to move either your soul or feet.

Each band member has extensive road experience with signed artists from various genres. Front-man Steve Burkett also brings to the fold experience as leading man in several major theatre productions, including Guys and Dolls, Music Man, and Much Ado About Nothing. This combined experience of entertaining thousands through various mediums and forums translates through to The Remedies’ live shows and keeps the audience on their feet wanting more.
