Show Me The Way

Show Me The Way

Now a days it seems, like everyone’s the same
Giving up their dreams, and living with their shame,
But I know for me, that I was made for more than living just to work,
And working just to die!

I was made to love, I was made to grow,
I was made to live in devotion and never let go,
Woah, can you show me the way,
I was made to search, I was made to find,
I was made to live my life one day at a time,
Woah, can you show me the way.

And all of the trials and tribulations that I’m facing lately,
I don’t know if I can find a solution,
Pick me up before I fall, give me grace and through it all,
I will give you more, and more, and more.

If your hope is gone, your fighting with yourself,
You can’t carry on, being someone else,
You can use this song,
And lift your voice, and make a choice to live a life, where you don’t have to lie.

Chorus

All of the precious things I’ve been going through, yes it’s true,
And all of the chaos in my life,
All of the pain, all of the strife, all of the games that keep me up at night,
They don’t compare to you!

The Show

The Show

I can tell you all about the things that I have done,
The countless competitions in my mind that I have won,
And all the other stories about how I got this far,
But I know that you would see right through, and peer into my heart
Into my heart. Into my heart

I can tell you all about the thing that I have seen,
The countless contradictions to reality and dreams,
Fables and the fairytales, Triumphs and the shame,
But I know that you have heard it all before, It’s all the same.

But if you dare to ask me, how I ever found a love,
The girl was like an angel who had fallen from above,
Stars were in her eyes and she was staring at the sun,
The answer to your question is, the stories just begun.

You’ve been to the show, you know how it goes,
I’m not gunna do it this time.
You’ve played all the games, and there all the same,
Baby it’s time for a change...

Fallin'

Written By: Evan Rundle

Fallin’

I noticed that you, were noticin’ me,
I’m hoping that we both can seem,
To start it again, to strart it off fresh,
I seem to be worst when you’re being the best,

You know all the rules, you play all the games,
But something about you isn’t the same,
I know its right, it can’t be wrong.

Cause I’m fallin’,
I did it the last time, I know that I’ll do it this time for sure.

They say that we can just be friends, they say that we can just pretend,
To brush it off, and just let go, to cut you’re loss, the status quo,
Cause I can’t live, another lie, I just can’t seem to justify,
I don’t know why, but I just feel it inside.

And I’m fallin’,
I did it the last time, I know that I’ll do it this time for sure,
And I’m fallin’, I did it the last time, but I just won’t do it anymore,

Here we go again, I don’t know what happened the last time,
I know that we can make it if we don’t do it again.
Lets try to make things work, from the begining and not the ending yeah,
The ending last time, it didn’t begin oh so well..

Chorus

Devotion

Written By: Evan Rundle

Devotion

All I really want is your love and devotion,
Girl you got me full of a crazy emotion,
I don’t understand why we need protection,
You just gotta point me in the right direction.

Cause I don’t wanna do this, I don’t wanna fight,
Darlin’, I promise I’ll stay,
It would be cool if you’d stay for the night,
We can find the answers, we just have to look inside!

Sometimes, I just wanna break down,
I just wanna loose it all, Throw it all away,
Some nights, I can’t find this feelin,
I can’t find a reson, to be all the way.

I know at times I can be ungrateful,
But its better than being so unfaithful,
We just gotta do some work on me,
And in turn we will be truly free...

Cause I pray for acceptance, and not for conrtol,
I ask God to show me the way,
We’ve both made ecceptions, and tried to let go,
But I gotta tell you darlin’, somethings gotta change!

Again and Again

Again and Again

So you say you’ve got your reasons,
well I got your rhymes,
This is not an open season,
But a changing of the times

I got a question for you,
Do you know your self
We do we become when we please everybody else.

I always try to be respectful,
Try to understand
Everybody’s is so resentful,
Of their fellow man
We just gotta find our own way
Let each other live
Realize that the only love you get, is the love you give!

(Chorus)
When I fall down, I beg to see the light,
I scream and I call out, to see the truth from lies,
It is then that you lift me and bring me to life,
You take away all of this pain,
You complete me, and lead me, and make it alright,
Again and again and again!

Staying humble, it’s not that easy
We all have our pride
Try to justify our actions
Keep it all inside
Take it one day at a time now
I just gotta Breath (inhale)
I don’t always understand it
But I still believe!

Chorus
