Lyrics

It Takes One To Know One

Written By: Theresa Carmoney

If I call you a fool and I let you stay I'm as guilty as you.
If I turn you around while you're walking away then I'm a fool too.
If you tell all your friends and everyone else we're a big mistake
Then I should let you go instead of trying to hold on you should be on your way

(chorus) But it takes one to know one and believe me that's true
It takes one to know one for me to be in-love with you
It takes one to know one for me to call you a fool
And if it takes one to know one then I'm one too

When you stay out late and women call our house you say it's not a big deal
When you drink too much and the kids wanna play you shout how bad you feel
You don't know how to love all you've ever learned is how to break a heart
And if you have to show love by cheating and hate then we should be apart

(Chorus) But it takes one to know one and believe me that's true
It takes one to know one for me to be in-love with you
It takes one to know one for me to call you a fool
And if it takes one to know one then I'm one too

(Repeat chorus) It takes one to know one and believe me that's true
It takes one to know one for me to be in-love with you
It takes one to know one for me to call you a fool
And if it takes one to know one then I'm one too
Yeah if it takes one to know one then I'm one too

Do Me Like This (Do Me Like That)

Written By: Theresa Carmoney

I don't know what you've been through. I don't know but I seem to like you.
With you smile and grace, beautiful face, the way you move puts me in a groove.
(bridge) Cowboy I like your style you take away my frown and bring a smile.
Forget about my bad day, oh the things you take away

(chorus) When you do me like this do me like that. Honey you don't care and that's a fact, but the way I feel about you keeps me comin' back cause I'll get you. Now what ya think about that?

As the days go by I sit and wait. Here in this bar I anticipate how things would be if you were mine but all I do is stare when you walk by.
(bridge) I'd love to dance with you, oh the things that we could do. Come on and take a chance on some winin' and dinin' and a little romance.

(chorus) But you do me like this do me like that. Honey you don't care and that's a fact. But the way I feel about you keeps me comin' back cause I'll get you. Now what you think about that?

Well the time has come for me to talk to you. Because you caught my eye oh what am I to do. So you take my hand and lead me to the floor. I forget where I'm at I'm screamin' more, more, more.

(chorus) I want you to do me like this do me like that. Well honey all life long been waitin' for a man who could make me feel the way you do. You turned my life around because I finally got you. Now what you think about that?

(repeat chorus)

Now what you think about that?

Straight Up

Written By: Theresa Carmoney

There's a man in leather decked out got it together.
He has a bike a nice Harley well sorry son you're not for me.
Just the other day a friend was callin'
She said I got a man for ya darlin'
He has a lot of cash and he's in business
But what he doesn't have are hugs and kisses
I had to tell her no I'd rather be alone
Then I said goodbye and I hung up the phone......

(spoken) Let me tell ya

(chorus) I need a cowboy ole fashioned kind. Someone who knows what's on my mind. Someone who'll love the night away. Someone who knows just what to say to make me feel good when I feelin' down. Someone who'll always be around. Someone who'll like my cowgirl style that knows how to be romantic and wild.

My friends say I'm too finicky. Now how can that be? I know the life for me is on a farm with lots of acres. Raisin' kids and corn and tomatoes. We'll have a chicken coop raisin' chickens. And when it's time to eat, they'll be finger-lickin'. We'll have a Chevy truck and some hound dogs, a John Deere and a bunch of hogs........

(spoken) Didn't I tell ya?

(chorus) I need a cowboy ole fashioned kind. Someone who knows what's on my mind. Someone who'll love the night away. Someone who knows just what to say to make me feel good when I'm feelin' down. Someone who'll always be around. Someone who'll like my cowgirl style that knows how to be romantic and wild.

(repeat chrorus) Said I need a.....

Said who knows how to be romantic and wild.
