Feeling a bit camera shy

Jesse has established himself by performing and touring extensively. Being a multi - instrumentalist he has played bass, and piano for various artists such as The Ryan Montbleau Band, Christine Baze, Christian McNeill and has supported notable acts such as Ben Folds, Guster, The Violent Femmes, The Samples, Howie Day, and the legendary Richie Havens. Jesse was recognized by The 2002 John Lennon Songwriting Contest when he won grand prize in the jazz category.
With all this under his belt, Jesse approached a couple of friends that he had known for some time. Local drummer and vocalist, Dennis Monagle was one of them. Performing nation wide and recording with a handful of local bands including Mamadech, Groove Therapy, and Brother Chameleon, Dennis found his way to Jesse and Michael and soon after the Resonance was born.
Michael Miksis is the bass-wizard in the band. He was the second friend that Jesse approached. Well versed in many styles, Michael has toured the country east to west and performed with groups such as Brotherhood of Groove (Brandon Tarricone, Sam Kinninger, Michael Ray); Blue Light Special (Warren Hood, Tony Price, Lyle Lovett); Chip Taylor; Boston Horns (Henley Douglas Jr., Garret Savluk)......and many others.
When it came time to record in the studio, the band knew that it would not be a simple task. Their first recording "Easier Said Than Done", was only meant to be a demo/EP- type of release. After realizing that they could really make an album happen, they did just that. Granted, it is a nine-track recording, but it was a labor of love that has pleased both the guys in the band , and many others who have purchased the cd.
Since the recording of "Easier Said....", The Resonance has been performing extensively , locally, and beyond, constantly growing their new material, and building on past favorites.
