Bio

In 2003, THE ROLLING STONES selected The Respectables for their opening act at The Bell Centre in Montreal during their LICKS WORLD TOUR. National and international press coverage followed that incredible night.

They have just finished mixing 8 hot new tracks down at WILLIE NELSON'S PEDERNALES STUDIOS in Texas. They are ready to Rock n’Roll like never before!

THE RESPECTABLES: 15 years in the making...

Returning home from a long back-packing trip across Europe and The U.S. , guitar player and singer Sebastian Plant called up his old high school band ''MOONLIGHT DRIVE" partner Pascal Dufour. The two hooked up along with another former high school buddy Dusso and the three began writing the songs that would become their first independent album ''No Dogs, No Bands''. They named themselves ''THE RESPECTABLES'' (an old French expression for prostitutes!) Bodean filled the vacant seat behind their drumkit and the boys were now ready for their new life on the road.

The Respectables toured Canada and parts of the U.S. for some years, and in 1999, made a surprise turn to French. They made 3 great french rock records between 1999 and 2005; one of them certified GOLD while the two others topped the charts in Eastern Canada and won them several awards including BAND OF THE YEAR at The Quebec Music Awards 2 years in a row in early 2000. Since then, The Respectables have had 25 top chart hits on French radios.

In 2006, The Respectables released a live album after their sold-out show at The Bell Center in Montreal. The year after, followed a DVD certified Canadian GOLD after only two weeks. They are now ready to conquer a new market as they are finishing their latest english record.
