The Restless Souls

The Restless Souls formed back in 2008, and since then the Souls have evolved for the better in a big way. Now in 2010 the Restless Souls are coming on strong, honing their skills by playing at bars and clubs, parties, open mics, and by opening gigs anywhere and everywhere they could. Because of all this performing, the Souls have achieved a rocking blues sound that has generated quite a buzz in the local music scene of Syracuse and Central New York. Now ready to headline shows, the Restless Souls took a big step in June recording an impressive four song E.P. at Andy Rudy Studios (Produced by Andy Rudy in Syracuse).
The Restless Souls music appeals to blues and non-blues fans alike—which is evident at their live shows where everyone is moving and dancing and having a good time with the blues.
The Restless Souls include Tim Nolan (guitar&vocals), Jimmy “Boris” Sgouris (bass&vocals), and Peter Clouser (drum kit). Founding members Nolan and Sgouris are making a comeback of sorts. These experienced and seasoned musicians who have been active during the mid 80’s and early 90’s with many prominent local bands including “The Cause”, “Ed Hamill”, and “Hard at work”, to name a few. Clouser, a power house drummer, hails from the Boston, Massachusetts, area where he studied music and played locally.
The Restless Souls are talented and experienced, and they are determined to make an impact on the central New York music scene. While attending a Souls show you can expect to see many well known local musicians jump on stage to share in the excitement.
