2010 ended on a real high for us, releasing our second album to great critical appraise and touring Europe in support of John Hiatt, alongside Tame Impala and Field Music, at The Rolling Stone Weekender in Germany plus headline dates across Spain.
We were delighted to be asked to showcase at SXSW 2011 and Canada Music Week and we're starting to book in summer festivals with Kilkenny Rhythm and Roots and Tanned Tin (Spain) already confirmed.
Joined now by Alex Neilson of Trembling Bells on Drums, we're getting ready to take 2011 by the horns!

We recorded our debut LP in one day... in a church, late autumn 2005. It was cold as hell.
We have been running a record shop for 12 years, so we figured it can't be too hard to just release a record?! We started Drift Records (named after our shop) and amazingly it worked! The debut album came out to high critical praise and sold out 2000 hand wax sealed copies. We hit the road and played in as many churches as we could... they always sound the best. Europe has been kind, The UK has been rough... We all returned to Devon, set up for a couple of days in the summer at the family farm and recorded or second LP 'Farewell, My Lovely".
Recorded on an old tape machine, it's half way between Americana, and proper UK Folk... Anglicana?! - The magnificent Loose Records asked to release it, we gladly said yes! So we now share roster with Blanche, The Handsome Family, The Felice Brothers and The Due & The King to name but a few of their gems.
The album received a blanket high response, scoring 4 stars and above in almost every major UK publication and paper. The album sold out almost instantly and we are currently discussing a re-press.
We continue to tour with festivals in the UK and Europe throughout 2010. We are working on the third album now and expect to have it recorded before we kick off the summer.
