The Rhythm Allstars

The Rhythm Allstars

The Rhythm Allstars play a show we call The Blues Party. People dance, sing along, and laugh a lot as we slam through Blues for Dancing, great old Pop songs and, some originals-all chosen to start the party and get a house dancing.

In a sea of Blues bands, The Rhythm Allstars stand out as they bring thier Blues Party Show to audiences across Colorado. The Blues party is a unique take on Blues, Pop, Soul, and Roots Music, all mashed together to give a great time to an audience, keeping them engaged, having fun, and most important, keeping them in the house!
Our strong band personality comes from four journeyman players who know the power of playing as a unit, and communicating with an audiece our enthusiasm and love for the music.
If Albert King, James Brown, and Delbert McClinton met and put together a show with Booker T and the MGs backing them, it might be great and terrifying and a lot like the Rhythm AllstarsBlues Party.

We have recorded the EP BSW, including 8 song, 6 covers and then the next year produced the album "Tracks" which reflects our Blues Party influences.
"Tracks" includes groovin' Blues like"Tuff Enuff" from the Fabulous Thunderbirds, a strangely calypso take on Little Charlie and the Nightcats "That's My Girl", and a high octane treatment of Delbert McClinton's hit "Standing on Shaky Ground". The ballad is Keb Mo's "I'm in a dangerous mood"." Loretta, Loretta", a crankin' roots tune and "Callipygous Woman" are the originals.
