The Ride

In recent years The Ride has developed into a unique and powerful improvisational rock trio. They have been performing ever increasingly at numerous venues and clubs throughout the Northeast. The trio, guitar (Jesse Colognesi), bass (Peter Rogen), and drums (Evan Honsberger), weaves elements of improvisation, rock, and dance music to create their huge infectious sound, steadily gaining recognition throughout the music community. The Ride was conceived in 2002 but did not take its true form until the fall of 2004. Since then the band has played nearly 100 shows at more than 30 venues across the Northeast including, among others, The Middle East ( Cambridge, MA ), Harper's Ferry ( Boston, MA ), Nectar's ( Burlington, VT ), Tammany Hall, ( Worcester, MA ), and the legendary Stone Church Music Club in Newmarket, NH, where The Ride has recently made themselves at home. Consistently performing to packed houses and continuing to build their ever growing fan base, the trio's musical endeavors have led them to play shows with the likes of The Benevento-Russo Duo, Lotus, Melvin Sparks, David "FUZE" Fiuczynski, The Breakfast, Brothers Past, Lake Trout, Club d'Elf (Mike Rivard, Eric Kerr, David Tronzo, Randy Roos, Barhim Fribgane), U-Melt, Project Object, and countless others. They are currently in the midst of relentlessly playing music, allowing their definitive sound to evolve both quickly and naturally. The Ride remains focused on their electrifying live performances; dedicated to keeping each and every show captivating and powerful.
