The album "Miles From Nowhere" by the Steve Riley Band sold very well in both stores and online. The album was released in November, 2004. In 2007, The Riley-Wyman Factor (Vocalist Steve Riley and Guitarist Wyman Harrell) joined talents and created The Riley-Wyman Factor. They released a four-song EP in 2008 and it was very well received and created quite a buzz in the industry. Also, the songs received a tremendous amount of radio airplay. All four songs were included in at least one Radio Promotion from a variety of record companies, promotion companies and music service agencies. However, a major catastrophy in January, 2009 created
such a disruption that both Steve and Wyman had to leave the industry and focus on other "urgent matters".
Well, they are back and will be releasing their new single through
CD Baby and other online music service agencies. The song is entitled "After Sage" and was written about one of Steve's loves,,his first grandaughter, Sage Riley. According to Steve, "it is absolutely amazing how much we can learn from children if we only took the time to observe and listen.
The single is for sell at CD Baby and other online music stores.
