"The Best of Riley-Wyman Project"

The Riley-Wyman Project have been a band for some time now and in all those years have accumulated a discography that would make fans of Cat Stevens and the Eagles smile wide. Now they have compiled their best on "A Musical Journey: The Best of Riley-Wyman Project.
"Blowing in the Wind" kicks off the record and it will remind you of an old friend. It's been awhile, but you pick right back up where you left off; like a familiar embrace. We head down a different path with "Lady of Gold". This one has a little more pep in it's step, like it's building up to something. Then, boom, it's time to strap on the dancing shoes and have a great time with this one. It sounds as if there is some Spanish flair in there as well. Then the tone is taken down with "Forever Young" with it's Johnny Cash vibe. That slowed down pace continues but the vocals lighten up with "Father and Son" for a sentimental musical adventure, or rather Journey. Rightfully titled, The Riley-Wyman Project is giving it their all and giving fans their beston this compilation that showcases all sides of the equally, from upbeat to the downtrodden, emotional. It's all there on "A Musical Journey: The Best of Riley-Wyman Project, out now. - http://www.bandblurb.com

"OWL RADIO CD REVIEW"

The Musical Journey and magical experience that is. This album all began in 2007 with The Steve Riley Band's first album release entitled "Miles From Nowhere". Due to the band's impeccable ability to produce amazing music with powerful messages, their first album was a success, gaining great recognition and even receiving major press from the Billboard World Song Contest.

Fast forward into the present, the Steve Riley Band has now "fully evolved" into The Riley-Wyman Project and proudly released their debut album entitled "A Musical Journey: The Best Of Riley-Wyman Project".

With a dash of country, a spoon full of rock and buckets of soul, The Riley-Wyman Project possesses a style and genre all their own that stirs up a recipe for successful and great music.

"The music will give you chills." - KSURadio.com/album-reviews

Discography

Lady Of Gold  (Written about and dedicated to my lovely wife, Bonnie Riley.  My true Lady of Gold)

She waits in the distance...with memories and time.  She stands in the corner waiting in line.   She'll quietly wonder...never hearing the thunder.  She's paying her dues.  She'll never surrender her dreams or her blues.    And when the story has been told...A standing ovation will go....to the Lady Of Gold

She stay's in the shadows....away from the light.  She dreams of younger days...plans another day...makes everything all right.  She'll always be brave...chase monsters away.   You'll never see her pain.  She'll always protect you...from the rain  And when the story has been told...A standing ovation will go....to the Lady of Gold.

Bio

In 2008, The Steve Riley Band released their first album entitled "Miles From Nowhere".  The album was a major buzz in the industry and created  a heavy fan base.  In 2011, the group changed their name to "The Riley-Wyman Factor".  They released a four (4) song EP for radio airplay entitled "The Riley-Wyman Factor",in June 2011.   All four songs on the EP received rave reviews and positive accolades from both music fans and music professionals. (radio, producers, compilation CD's, etc.)

The band has just released their new album entitled "A Musial Journey: The Best of the Riley-Wyman Project" (5 songs from Miles From Nowhere, 4 songs from the EP and 3 new songs that have been recently recorded.  The 12 song album is already beginning to cause an excitement about the return of Steve Riley and Wyman Harrell to the music scene.

The album is already receiving radio airplay and is on sale at most "digital download locations (CDBaby, iTunes, etc.) as well a most record stores.

The album also contains four (4) cover songs from two of Steve Riley's "favorite artists".  (Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens)  The band uses their own style while maintaining the integrity of the original recordings.

Several "invited guests" add their musical talent in several of the songs.  Instruments include Violin, Piano, Harmonica, Ukelele, Bango, Steele Guitar, percussion( drums and bongo), slide guitar and  organ.  Also, D Higgins has added his great voice and harmony with his background vocals.  Steve Riley and Wyman Harrell have assembled a talented group of artists and have written and arranged a beautifully played "Musical Journey."    Enjoy
