Band Rock Blues

I love the Ringo Jets because they are loud but also very melodic. I already have a weakness for female drummers. They are talented enough to out stand in any type of “discovery” stages. I’m that I would be impressed even I didn’t know prior who they are. I like the bands with style.

"The best, most passionate, life-affirming show in Istanbul"

The Ringo Jets affirm your belief in music through a collective middle-finger raised to an increasingly oppressive society. The best, most passionate, life-affirming show I have seen in nearly a decade of living in Istanbul, and like Wolfstadt, my ears are still ringing… -

- THE RINGO JETS - official debut full length (2013) April

The Ringo Jets is rocknroll band from Istanbul; a loud one...

If there is an aesthetic we are speaking of, The Ringo Jets prefer to feed themselves from timeless bands and people: Delta Blues of Son House and Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley, The Who, The Sonics, The Kinks from the 60's, then The Stooges, MC5 and Black Flag following them along with SS Decontrol, The Gories and Flat Duo Jets.

Three on stage: two guitars-heros and a miss on drums. They all sing...

In 2011, they recorded their very first do-it-yourself EP Limited Lunchpack. By the end of 2012 they recorded a second EP in Darmstadt, in Orange Box studios, which will be released in March 2013 as Darmdstadt Tapes (its been recorded straight to tapes!)

But their official debut, recorded in Officine Meccaniche in Milan (Klaxons, Phoenix, Franz Ferdinand), produced/recorded/mixed by Tommaso Colliva (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Afterhours, Calibro35) which will feature Mauro Refosco (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Thom Yorke) and Enrico Gabrielli (John Parish,Mariposa, Afterhours, Calibro35) will be released by April 2013.

After their outstanding showcase performance at GLIMPS festival, in Gent, Belgium, the word is out: you will probably hear about them... very soon... and quite often...
