"This is garage rock done right, with snot, fury and pounding instrumental skills."

Nevada’s Slovenly Recordings has done it again: a brand-new LP from The Rippers, Sardinia, Italy’s ‘60s-influenced ragers is now available for order. “Why Should I Care About You?” features 12 high-octane slices of European trans-world garage punk that jump out of the grooves and get in your face.

With great blood-splattered cover art and influences that range from Bo Diddlley, Chuck Berry and the Downliners Sect, this is garage rock done right, with snot, fury and pounding instrumental skills.

In case you missed their incendiary LA show at the Scene last month, catch up with this lo-fi YouTube video. - Examiner.com

Bio

Ripper 1! Ripper 2! Ripper 3! Ripper 4! Yeah, that's the names of these 4 Sardines from Italy that comprise the wildest freak-beat combo of our our times... THE RIPPERS! These mod maniacs have been steadily pounding out trans-world punk rave-ups since 2002. Possessing the tightest chops of any 60s punks making music today, The Rippers RIP with speedy blasts of quality, high-octane European rhythm'n'blues. With snot factory vocals, super screwy guitar breaks and a frogs-ass-is-watertight rhythm section.

This is just the right kick for amp cranking and speaker worshipping, floor stomping and ass shaking: Ultra-sonic rock’n’roll assault, and their signature stinging string-bending wickedry. The Bo Diddley (R.I.P.!) beats will sure to have all the cool kids shakin' in study hall! Real rock'n'roll is alive, well and RIPPING!
