The River 68’s have established themselves as a tour de force on Glasgow’s up & coming scene. Having released their debut single “Just the Way” to acclaim - they’ve progressed into territories worth viewing.
Songs being broadcast nationally on BBC Radio1 & 2, Clyde1 & 2, Rock/Real radio etc really propelled the band to build up a great live following. This was further heightened with slots at T in the Park, Rockness, Belladrum and Wickerman festivals, to which the band have been working tirelessly to build their reputation as a great live act.Their album has been recorded between two world class studios (Leeders Farm/Rockfield) with Dan Hawkins of The Darkness and Nick Brine (Teenage Fanclub/Bruce Springsteen) acting as producer and engineer
The River 68's will appear on BBC nationally & BBC iPlayer: Both in August 2013 for four weeks in a row after recording four live songs off the recent EP.
They will also be tour support for The Darkness on their 6 week tour of Britain and Ireland this November/December
