The Rizewelz are a Cincinnati based Hip Hop group composed of two emcees, Gypsy, and Eriee. Combining catchy melodies, choruses, and lyrical verse content that is relatable as well as credible to the underground or popular listener of this genre of music.
At this time we are currently working on our third project, which will be done in the spring of 2007. In February, before the actual CD release, we will start doing shows mixing material from the second album as well as sneak features from the new one coming out. We will also be getting together with our promotional team who helped a great deal in 2006, and start getting flyers on the move as well as bookings for a very busy year ahead. Not only venues, but, we now have leads to be a possible opening act when the University Of Cincinnati hosts free shows such as Busta Rhymes, or Kanye West.
The Rizewelz came together to form the group in 1999 on the verge of the millennium. The two members, Gypsy (Andrew Paulin), and Eriee (Chad Ulrich) started to make music that would not only change in a useful way the genre but carry on the tradition of our predecessors who literally molded an evolved state of music. Our greatest life lessons from having to finance our own projects through self-discipline, as well as receive, process, and make ourselves better to be more appealing to our audience have came from working together in music.
This third album to be released in the spring will be our best, and strongest stone for our career path. Bringing to the table mass appeal, talent, and determination. Taking every bit of worthy information that we have picked up along the way to push our product into the right hands that will take us to the mainstream level our sound deserves. There is development rapidly growing within the group musically, and personally that has only been held up from the mainstream level by the lack of correct backing. This year that will change.
2007, and the finishing up of our latest album, the rigorous scheduling of as many shows as possible, and the fulfillment of living our dreams will only help us live our name stronger. The Rizewelz. To actually rize wel in the actions of our life.
