The Robert Lawrence Orchestra & Quartet

Since 1994, The Robert Lawrence Orchestra has been entertaining audiences such as The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey 50th Gala Anniversary Celebration, The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center, The Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), Grand Central Partnership, The Gala to Rebuild Hoboken, The United Nations Vigil for International Peace in Central Park, Brooklyn-Downtown Partnership, The Weehawken Waterfront Festival, The Warwick Hotel, The Old Mill (Spring Lake, NJ), The PM Realty Group, The Tenafly Chamber of Commerce and many others with their black-tie performances. Multiple Broadway vocalists headline the band, especially the Emmy-award winning actress Ms. Lillias White. This band is managed, owned and conducted by Susan Scherman, a Certifed Minority Woman-Owned Business Enterprise in NYC, the Empire State and for The Port Authority of NY and NJ. After traveling with bandleaders such as the late great Lionel Hampton, Buddy Rich, Xavier Cugat band, and many others, Susan Scherman performs the great books of those artists, as well as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Sonny Rollins, and many more.
