The Rochambros are like a shot of adrenaline to the currently comatose state of rock n' roll." -Jacqueline Burt, writer, NY Post.

Biography

THE ROCHAMBROS have already been compared to the likes of Elvis Costello/The Attractions and The Strokes. They've also been packing shows at New York venues like Arlene's Grocery, The Bitter End, The Cake Shop and Webster Hall. A&R man Ben Jacobs of The Hours label (FIRES OF ROME, DADA LIFE) commented on the band's "great energy and presence"; Julia Darling, manager of Arlene's Grocery stated "Finally - an energetic, original, relevant, inspired band who can pack the house on a Tuesday!" And Jacqueline Burt, contributing writer, NY Post said “…sophisticated songwriting skills…a shot of adrenaline to the currently comatose state of rock n' roll.”

Exit

Written By: The Rochambros.

Exit

Exit this way
I don’t want to feel this way again
I’m not coming back for more
Who could have thought that it would
End up this way
I’m stuck here in this clouded state again
And I’m still gazing at the stars
That have filled up my dreams

But everything that moves around me spins too fast to touch
Somewhere I made a wrong turn but now I have seen too much
Exit this way I don’t want to feel this way again
No I don’t, No I don’t

My senses on edge but you move so silently
I can’t stop you before you creep out
But I fall so far behind
Can you try to care for once in your lifetime?
Guess I got what I paid for today

String Theory

String Theory

I couldn’t ask for more springs
I’m already too high off the ground
And from your rope you gave me three strings
But it’s enough to see the whole town
Can I make it through your window?
I’ll climb inside as time goes by
We’ll never stop to watch the sun
Because those purple lights block out the sky

I’m now changing in your waves into
The kind of tide that always breaks the rules
But please don’t say I’m over you
Please don’t think I’m over you
The sound goes on even when the screen is off
The town goes crazy when the key is lost
But please don’t say I’m over you
Please don’t lock your door

When the fire burns all it can burn
The lights will let the sun come out
But can you pass me two or three more strings?
I think you know what this is all about

[CHORUS]

It feels like the morning
Yes it feels like the morning
But you’ve only seen the best in me
You’ve only seen the best in me

Dream Sequences

Dream Sequences

I’m not ready for the last clear morning
Don’t want to listen to your dismal warnings
Feel like I could cross the bay alone
And it’s only just a step away
Land and sea are one in my view
Take this highway in a straight line to you
I don’t care what’s real or not
Falling through those pictures I bought

So out of the way
Nothing to say
I just don’t want to die again
But it’s now way too much
I don’t know how to swim
I want you so bad
The world starts to dim

Dodging numbers but they just keep coming
Isolated figures in the foggy awning
Still no sign of movement on your side
I can almost hear you talking now
Listen I will keep my mouth shut
There’s no incentive to release your secret
Give me anything your holding or something that can
Keep me floating

Low Gear

Low Gear

I’m in the second station
Somewhere I know that you won’t be
I fret a confrontation
Present a theory you won’t believe
I wrote it all on paper
Just look at me and you’ll see it’s true
That I am just your subject
I know you’re missing something too

I’ve got to go somewhere now
Done everything there is to do here
Maybe I’ll go and visit your house right now
We’ll set our brains in low gear

You are the instigator
You’ve got me cornered in my room
But I’m an alligator
You’ll be my prey if you speak too soon
I wrote it all on paper
Just look at me and you’ll see it’s true
That I am just your subject
I know you’re missing something too
