The Ron Williams Project

The Ron Williams Project is the journey of a solo artist who got lost in life and left years of music study behind. Now he's back from the beginning with a new sound...a sound very pure, raw and left to it's own devices. An emotionally driven vocal style that is as powerful as this artist's written words and haunting melodies. The music is stripped of the typical "karaoke" like background tracks that you hear strapped to today's local solo artists. "I'm taking this journey on my own and, to my surprise, am enjoying an incredible response."

The Ron Williams Project was born of a desire to be free from the trappings of a band and to share the stage with artists only on a venue by venue basis. But whether alone or sharing the stage, Ron Blanchette is back with his unique and powerful sound for all who care to listen. His music ranges from Eclectic-Melodic Pop to Contemporary Rock/Pop…often sprinkled with a contemporary Jazz feel. Humble Beginnings:
This South Florida solo artist has played and studied music for most of his life. His unique sound was developed from his humble beginnings in a small town church outside of Boston. At age nine, Ron began taking music lessons in the church, using his father's old "50's style" acoustic guitar. The solus of the instrument and the resilient echo of the church, forged his love for the individualism and emotion that is connected with his music today.

After many years of private study, with a graduate of Berkley College of Music in Boston, Ron was ready to follow in his mentor's footsteps and pursue his formal training. He toured the school at the ripe old age of thirteen, already mastering the requirements of study to enter the prestigious school. It was simply a matter of soaring through 4 years of high school and he was in. Along the way, life detoured Ron's pursuit of music and, eventually, lead him to a career as an Art Director and Graphic Designer. His career had sustained him over the years, but with an ever present void. That void was his passion for playing and writing music.

Well, RON BLANCHETTE IS BACK to share his unique and powerful sound for all who care to listen.
