Biography

Three Brooklyn intellectuals and a Jazz Musician got together in 2010 to form what is now known as The Roof Walkers.

The debut EP Light Makes It Dirty, recorded and produced by the boys at Sea Side Lounge (Beirut, Andrew Bird, The National, and more), has “brought a breath of fresh air into Brooklyn’s crowded and booming music scene.” Also, with the bands combined years of playing experience, their energetic live shows have garnered them the attention to quickly become one of the go-to bands to open for touring acts coming through the NYC area.

With friends in Department of Eagles, Ra Ra Riot, MONA, and Elizabeth and the Catapult, the group has gained a quick fan base and notoriety during the last year and has began expanding beyond their NY roots.
