The Rookz are seeking any promotion/advertising with a goal to sign a deal to release under
any label interested in take-over of contract to Slick Records.
A 12 track promotional copy of The Rookz material is currently available (Limited to 2,000
copies).
To date 19 sample tracks have been recorded.

Winners of South Wales Battle of the Bands 2010 (Entries from West Wales to
Bristol).
• Performed on BBC1s Lee Mack All Star Cast 15 seconds of fame on two
occasions (6+ million audience) - Live guests on the show that The Rookz performed
to include, Theo Paphitis, Katie Price, Alice Cooper, Rhod Gilbert, Sarah Millican, Lee
Mack + More.
• Liked by Rock Legend Alice Cooper.
• The band of choice for Premiership football club Swansea City for Players / Manager
Christmas Party
• The resident band of Parc Y Scarlets home to South Wales rugby team The Scarlets
• Guests of Al Murray on TV show Compete for the Meat (Channel Dave), other guests
included Kriss Akabusi, Zoe Salmon and members of the Red Dwarf cast.
• Played alongside artists in Wales including Beverly Knight, Tinchy Stryder, The
Saturdays, Wretch 32, Wynne Evans (Go Compare), Encore, Parade, Six D, Twenty
Twenty, Starboy Nathan + More. – Backstage highlights; playing football with Tinchy
Stryder.
• Performed at Welsh festivals including Beachbreak Live, Party on the Pitch etc to
thousands of fans. - Will be doing this plus more in 2012.
• Recorded with legendary producer Tim Hamil at Sonic 1 studio's on the same mixing
desk as Coldplay and sound booth from Abbey Road (as used by The Beatles).
• Guest performance at Alfie charity night – Celtic Manor to guests including Micky
Rourke, James Dean Bradfield, Gareth Thomas, Frankie Cocozza, Natasha Giggs,
Joe Calzaghe, Natalie Cassidy, Nicola McLean, Kirk Norcross.
