"Country Music Night in Fargo"

As Kenny Chesney, the reigning Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, was entertaining loyal country music fans at the FargoDome Saturday night, the Roosters were singing their hearts out for country music fans at the House of Rock in the Playmakers Pavilion.

The Roosters were nothing short of great entertainment. The energy in their up-beat, western performance quickly moved into the crowd as fans began to abandon their seats to take a spot on the dance floor for a fast paced two-step.

The Roosters took the stage at 10 p.m. By this time, the crowd was ready for some good, well-known country tunes by famous artists such as Big and Rich and Tim McGraw.

Before The Roosters took the stage, the 21 and older crowd consisted of roughly 50 middle-aged females ready to check out The Roosters in their sleeveless western shirts and ripped jeans. Seats began to fill quickly, as the crowd more than doubled in size, to listen to The Roosters unique, one-of-a-kind performance.

The Roosters sang new titles from their own album, as well as some good, old country favorites. The concert began with lead singer, Rick Adams singing a new title off of their latest album, ÓSorry Bout The MessÔ followed by the Big and Rich classic, ÓWild West Show.Ô Adams then finished with their new song ÓNatural Born LoversÔ before taking a break.

This five-man-band is not new to the Fargo area. Being based out of Fargo, The Roosters have been performing for local clubs, street dances, fairs and music festivals, as well as We Fest since 1994.

Although there was a $3 cover charge and The Roosters were singing loud enough for a room the size of the FargoDome, The RoostersÒ performance and music was definitely more impressive than that of the average-bar-band.

The Roosters next scheduled appearance will be April 19-21 at Pistol PeteÒs in Moorhead, Minn. The Roosters will return to the House of Rock on May 19. To view The Roosters complete performance schedule visit www.theroosters.com.
