The Rose Familiar is an all original melodic Progressive Rock project. Inspired by classic Genesis, Rush and King Crimson, TRF present modern epic prog song creations.
Garry Byrne drenches their sound in 70's Moog and Mellotron inspired synth and keyboard parts while James Wilson explores odd times and fills up the space with Bruford and Peart inspired beat frenzy. Mick and Chris support song structures with tasteful lead and rhythms on guitar and bass respectively.
Songs deal with the unusual and poetic, resulting in an always interesting and truly original experience.
