THE ROUTE 66 BIG BAND performs as a 16-piece dance band featuring music with the “Big Band Sound of the Swing Era”. This great, swinging band's repertoire consists of the classic and authentic big band hits as well as standards from later decades. Tunes by such greats as Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Count Basie among others.
ROUTE 66 has a very large and loyal following earned over the past 20+ years from our appearances at many corporate, civic and private functions all over the Seattle and Puget Sound area. This group can make any occasion special and have had a lot of experience performing for special events.
Our lovely and very talented vocalists, Cindy Solvang and Ingrid DuMosch, add a special touch of glamour and excitement to the music. They have had many years of experience performing all over the United States and abroad. They both have a singing style that is especially well suited for swing music.
