"A Must Play"

I use "Freak of Nature" on my sets at the club, and it always sets the mood right. I like what The Rove are doing, and how they grind. This is a must play! - D.J. Banks (Stadium Club, Washington D.C.)

"Global Unity"

This could easily be my favorite new group. They give off an international aura which could lead to heavy rotation globally. Great stage presence, and seem to have a following. - A. Salaam (Unity Global)

The Rove is a great concept for their musical experience, and vibe. Music is upbeat, but still holds a soft touch with many emotions. Fashionable presence, and good for working out! - T.H.U.G. Magazine

The Rove are really far ahead of other new artist peers. Their song "Freak Of nature" is sexy, and extremely intriguing. - Next level Magazine

Bio

In this Day and age, where music has evolved into an advanced essence of what the past once held. There have been many that have not followed the trend, but searched for something more. The Rove creates an expression of completely who they are. Just as Rove has its meaning of wandering, being everywhere, or with no fixed base. That’s where enters The Rove!

Born in a small university town called Njala located in Sierra Leone, West Africa, Kanjia’s musical influences were vastly different than that of a boy born within the continental US. Kanjia’s style is Regg-Hop which translates to a fusion of Hip-Hop/Reggae/Dancehall. Alongside a catchy yet simple beat, he lends his unique vocals, complemented by house hold names Twista, Pitbull and E-40. He is well recognized for his feature in Murphy Lee’s single release “My Shoes”.

Rapper/Producer Parris Austin takes his audience on a journey. This multi-talented artist from New York City, has successfully merged his talents together to develop a sound that is both familiar and new. It has been said that P. Austin's music is classic east coast rap with a hint of Kanye West, as featured on artistdirect.com. Over the years, he has been producing music for artists across all the major spots within the country and overseas. He’s also accumulated an audio engineering degree, in which he’s an Alumni of SAE NY.

Together they form a group that has no boundaries, but maintain their urban popular appeal. Offering a fusion of sounds, they provide a new aura in which music is in desperate need of. With innovative production, catchy hooks, and powerful song concepts; it's apparent that The Rove are ready to start chasing the reality of becoming part of the next successful music group.
