Bio

At times, the current rock scene feels pretty tired. Sure, there are some good songwriters out there, but the so-called "indie rock" genre is filled mostly with whiny, self-pitying losers. Here's some news for you, The Rude Nudies write kick-ass rock songs, and you'll want to hang out with them after the show. The Rude Nudies are bringing ballsy guitar work and in-your-face showmanship back to rock music, simply because they've missed it so badly. Inspired by the likes of Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Nudies melt faces any time they take the stage.

Originally formed in Nashville, where Keith Levy, Patrick Fleeman, and Luke Poggi attended school together, they played one show with the original lineup in the fall of 2004. Patrick's amp literally went up in flames during a cover of AC/DC's "Highway To Hell," and the fraternity at which they played was kicked off campus due to the raucous events that occurred that evening. Needless to say, it was fantastic and the five Nudies have been dying to play together ever since. In the summer of 2007, itching to make or even just hear music that turns people's heads, Patrick packed up his gear and drove from Little Rock, Arkansas to Baltimore, Maryland (where the other four Nudies were born and raised). The five of them lived, drank, and played together in the basement of a rental house, where they wrote and recorded for 30 days straight. This yielded their self-titled, 5 song demo, and they haven't looked back since.
