Joining forces in early 2006, this quartet of pop-rockers brings a wall of sound that will have you singing along even before the first chorus hits. They are “The Rulers” from Richmond, VA. After the demise of “The Orphans” (voted best band in Phoenix), Noah DeRoule took his song writing skills to the east coast where he would meet local musicians Brian Duffy (drums), ex-member of River City High and local recording engineer/producer Pedro Aida (guitar/vox) and eventually ex frontman of Richmond pop rock bands Knucklehed & The Medium, Brooks Cullum (bass). Quickly the band strung together radio ready hits such as “Caroline”, "Ramones", "World I Left Behind” and “It Won’t Be You”. With catchy hooks and lyrics that’ll be sure to get stuck in your head, The Rulers always leave their audiences begging for more. Only playing shows since fall of 06’ the band is already winning crowds over at some of the areas most recognized venues like Alley Katz, The Canal Club, Rocks, Wonderland, Poe’s Pub and even a trip out to Hollywood, CA as part of the I.P.O. Festival in L.A. Recently the boys have been getting air play on local rock station Y101. If you know what’s good for you, do yourself a favor and go see The Rulers!
