Biography

Steven and Andrew McWilliams, Louisiana-born and Texas-raised brothers, have played country music together since they could wrap their hands around their dad’s guitar. In 2013, the brothers release their sophomore alum ("Revival") to country radio. This record, produced by Erik Herbst (Eli Young, Norah Jones, The Eagles), is supported by countless live shows throughout the south. No strangers to flat tires and engine failures, the band has visited nearly every honky-tonk in Texas.

When Dwayne Bollmeyer and Derron Bell (guitar and percussion) teamed up with the brothers in mid-2010, the band became the best it has ever been. From symphony halls to rodeos, veterans Dwayne and Derron have played almost every kind of gig imaginable.

Lyrics

Love, Guitars and Whiskey

Written By: Steven and Andrew McWilliams

(Chorus)

I'm coming around the bend and I can't stop myself;
Running from love and I think I'm headed for hell.
Going to find a reason to call my friends tonight;
Can't stop this train but baby, I'll be alright.

Old School Habits

Written By: Steven and Andrew McWilliams

Southern born; Louisiana raised.
We'd always hear him talk about the good 'ol days.
He's chasing his own tail like it's what he was born to do.
He went down with a hell of a fight; kickin' and screamin' too,

Right there, tonight...

Tonight... tonight....

And it's old school habits with a new school kind of sway.
They could get real close but he'd always get away.
Now he'll rest his eyes tonight.

He was a simply guy; White t-shirt and blue jeans type.
He killed the neighbors dog with franks and poison beans.
He drove his pickup out to where the alligators stay.
He threw his tailgate down and that dog still lays right there tonight.

Tonight... tonight...

And it's old school habits with a new school kind of sway.
They could get real close but he'd always get away.
Now he'll rest his eyes tonight.

Underneath an old magnolia tree;
A tombstone marks his spot with old dead grass and leaves.
But every now and then, coming from that grave...
An old harmonica rings, 'cause that Cajun boy still plays

Right there tonight... tonight... tonight...

And it's old school habits with a new school kind of sway.
They could get real close but he'd always get away.
Now he'll rest his eyes tonight.
