The Saltine Project

The Saltine Project

We're the best band you've never heard of. With music as catchy as the fab four from Liverpool, and lyrics that would make Robert Smith shed a tear, how could you not sing along!?

The Saltine Project recipe:
*4 fun loving, carefree gentlemen
*Equal parts fuzzed out guitar, and room shaking bass
*Sprinkle in liberal amounts of extremely danceable drum beats
*Bake in a gypsy's basement with a temperature of at least 400 degrees fahrenheit for at least 3 hours every day
*Once it cools you should be hearing music that sounds Beatlesesquely happy with lyrics that would make even Robert Smith shed a tear.
We like to describe our genre as "post pop-punk." Basically, it's catchy and energetic like pop-punk, but the music is complex and well written. Also, the lyrics are deeper and a lot more meaningful.

Nyquil Lullaby

Written By: Martin, Massaro, Carbaugh, Hedrick

Sometimes things are never as they seem, these illusions haunting all my dreams. I just can't compete. 1,2,3,4! I want what I can't have and it's a problem indeed. This fever's going to kill me. I just need some relief from this broken heart of mine. Break these shackles chaining down my mind.
I'm not crazy, I'm just bored sitting here on my own. I'm not sleepy, I'm just stoned. I'm not lonely, just alone. Chew me up, and spit me out. I won't give in, I'll just give out.
You shouldn't listen what the rumors say. Why does it matter to you anyway. 1,2,3,4! Don't fill your ears with a beautiful lie. The man in the white told me my eyes are fine. I really should read between the lines
