You Are Not Alone: Sireal's "Isolated"
Sireal is an MC with a gift for introspectively sincere wordplay. With
a straightforward style that simultaneously conveys the thoughtful
everyman and the creative tortured soul, the rapper/singer/songwriter
has an earnestness and passion that most MCs seem incapable of
mustering, especially in the escapist atmosphere of contemporary
hip-hop. On the hypnotic single, "Isolated," a story of loneliness
unfolds over a piano line that is equal parts chilling and somber, the
Atlanta native's gratitude to his beloved segues into the foreboding
chorus. This mesmerizing cut is just the tip of the proverbial
iceberg--Sireal is obviously a unique and intriguing artist to watch
for in 2008.

Philip "Sirreal" Nady, created "The Sanctuary," as a project where up & coming artist and musicians can create songs without any limitations on creativity. The mixture has produced a hip hop based sound, infused with a variety of strings, and r&b influenced melodies.
The project began in late 2007, and has created an excited following.
The lead single, "Isolated," is a story of mistrust in a loving relationship. "Most of the songs are written with a sense of truth, and people seem to gravitate towards them because of that," explains Sirreal.
The Sanctuary's influences vary from Prince to The Red hot Chili Peppers, but the sound is one of a kind. "A Sanctuary is a place of refuge or safety," explains the Atlanta resident. "An artist should feel free to express themselves without boundaries or rules. I'm creating an enviornment like that through this project," says Sirreal. "I know artists and audiences will appreciate that."
Though The Sanctuary is new, Sirreal has over ten years of live performing experience, ranging from talent showcases and rap battles, to opening up for acts such as Cee-Lo Green (Goodie Mob), and T.I. "I love to perform. It's one of the greatest feelings in the world! I've been very blessed to be able to use the talents God has given me, so every time i hit the stage, I give it my all."
