Bio

The Sapphire Project started with many early basement jams in the beginning of 2005. Singer/Guitarist Aaron Sheldon had some songs that he wanted to jam out to see what kind of potential they had with some other musicans. Aaron got together with longtime friend and bass player Sean Meyers and friend and old bandmate Nate Read in his basement to jam out these ideas and travel to some impromptu ideas. Soon afterwards longtime friend Mike Rodgers brought his hand percussion and celtic influences to the table to create the foundation of The Sapphire Project. The band played a few college shows and house parties before they realized that the music was undeniable, and that the future was written in the cosmos. In the fall of 2006 The Sapphire Project came across a keys player,Elliot Morgan, with the right mindset and the longevity needed for the live shows and the drive for a great album.

The Sapphire Project has been known for its unpredicatble sets of sonic euphoria. People from many different backgrounds and tastes have come to the shows because of the many genres intertwined into one set. The band has been known to play for 45 minutes up to 4 hours. The only way to describe The Sapphire Project is to come experience The Sapphire Project.
