The Saturday Night Show

The Saturday Night Show is a three piece modern rock band recently formed in Vancouver Canada. Songs written and composed by frontman Ben Ferrel have been shaped by the experience of Callum Paterson and complimented by the subtle rhythms of Mike Nasseri. Three creative minds from the prairies came together on the coast to explore their passion for live music.

With so much great music being made today, SNS is simply trying to add some new colours and flavours to the buffet. Without entering into the realm of synthesizers and Electro-Rock, the band is trying to push the boundaries of the root genres that inspired their musical upbringings. Blurring the boundaries between Rock, Funk and Blues, the riff-driven songs with rhythmic elements of hip hop, celtic and world beat combine into a new and interesting brew.

Subconscious influences of Stephen Malkamus, Modest Mouse, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Led Zeppelin appear in the melodies, arrangement and rhythm. Tight rhythm changes and syncopation layered with melodic hooks and classic guitar tones come together on stage for an unforgettable live music experience. Unique, fun and interesting, indie enough for the hipsters but rock enough for the bangers.
