"Longshot album review"

The very cool website WOMAN ROCK has this to say about TSJ's debut album, Longshot:

"Longshot is an album perfect for summertime in the way it feels warm and familiar. The CD falls into the ambiguously intriguing category of alt-country where groups like Wilco reside. All ten tracks were recorded in one room and in one day, which is a testament to Kate Dwyer's classic talent. Her songs are moody and rich by enhanced fantastic lead guitar that often highlight the graceful arrangements. Call it beginner's luck, but lyrics are nearly flawless, too. Dwyer demands quick and valid comparisons to Cowboy Junkies as well as Aimee Mann.

RATING 4 (of 5)" - womanrock.com
