"Review - Blow your house down"

"[Blow Your House Down] will please lovers of ballsy, kick-arse rock'n'roll to no end. Two blokes and two chicks - including the very sassy and spirited Nelli Scarlet on vocals - The scarlets seem exceptionally capable of carving out a massive niche for themselves on the still reasonably healthy glam rock scene, especially if this recording is anything to go by... This band could be red hot"
Rod Whitfield - Beat Magazine

"Scarlet Fever"

Voices don't get much bigger than that of The Scarlets singer Nelli Scarlet. The Scarlets make genuine, fun music that demands attention. All four members ooze sex appeal and style, reflected in their sound and the impossibility of not being attracted to everything about the band. For anyone with any doubts about The Scarlets pedigree as the genuine article, a quick trip to their Myspace site and a viewuing of their video for "Dirty Rock Baby" should put these to rest. There isn't a lot of music out there that makes this writer want to see a band live more than that of The Scarlets... their raw yet accessible sound literally screams it from the rooftops.-"

Bio

No corny life-messages, no political agenda, just a view to shock-and-awe and leave 'em wanting more.

In just over one year, with their highly explosive live shows and signature style of punk-tinged rock n roll with a glamourous twist, THE SCARLETS have established themselves as one of the must-see acts of 2011.

With their passion for fashion, and an insatiable love for covering anything that moves (or doesn't) in red Swarovski, THE SCARLETS look like no other band in the world and need to be seen to be believed.

THE SCARLETS have already established themselves as Australia's hottest underground female-fronted band, having headlined some of melbourne's most prestigious venues such as the Hifi Bar and the Esplande Hotel's Gershwin Room to packed crowds.

In December 2010, and just after the band's one-year anniversary, THE SCARLETS celebrated in style by being chosen as the sole support act for Global Mega-stars BON JOVI during their Australian tour, playing at world-famous venues ROD LAVER ARENA and ETIHAD STADIUM to a total of over 80,000 people over two sold-out nights.

THE SCARLETS are lead by the searing vocals of rock n' roll bombshell Nelli Scarlet, driven by the thunderous rhthym section of pocket dynamo Lizzie Dynon and natural born rock god Nick Ivka, and spearheaded by the explosive guitar work of the deadly Pete Davies.

Their debut recording 'Blow Your House Down' has been raptiously recieved by fans and critics alike, earning itself rave reviews in the local media.

Debut video 'Dirty Rock Baby' has gone down a storm since being uploaded to YouTube, earning itself a place in australia's top ten videos in July 2010, and over 1,000 views in under a week.

2011 is gearing up to be an even bigger year for the band as they prepare to launch their follow-up EP 'Bombshell' in July and undergo an extensive national tour before heading off overseas to play in Germany for their ever-growing fanbase abroad.
