The Scarlett Season

The Scarlett Season is a four member metal band from Mexico City.
Lurking between the styles of trash, groove, death, progressive and even what some may call avant-garde, The Scarlett Season comes with a strong and powerful proposal, forging some harsh, heavy and fairly obscure passages with the most catchy, refreshing and easy going themes.
The concept originates from the talented mind of Nikolay Malajevich in 2009, evolving and swinging through diverse musicians until the band reached in 2011 it's current and most definitive line-up, consisting of Djoser Ordoñes, Gerardo Ruiz, Adrian Baez-Balseca and Nikolay Malajevich.
In 2010 The Scarlett Season self released a 7 track EP with highly acclaimed songs such as Straight to Nowhere and the homonymous Come Again, earning the band a fair group of fans and a great start-up in the Mexican metal scene.
The EP "Come Again" it's a mere glimpse of what's coming next, a full lenghted LP, a conceptual material indagating in subjects such as alcoholism, addictions, family issues, a wasted life and an imminent death. Lyrics full of sarcasm, cynicism and black humour, as well as an introspective approach and an attempt to descrive the human complexity.
The LP "Delirium Tremens" will be recorded at the end of this year, mixed and mastered in France by Brett Caldas of TowerStudio, and illustrated by Chilean digital artist Mauricio Javier Gonzáles "Sidius".
