"Schwartz Family Releases New Project On Grapevine Records"

Nashville, TN: Grapevine Records announced the new release from The Schwartz Family from Mendon, MI. The project contains a variety of great songs, some of which were penned by group members, Carma, Jayson, Jesse and Tobey. The new recording, is a fusion of Bluegrass, Country and Southern Gospel that is sure to solidify and establish their place in Gospel Music. The first radio single, “Muddy Water” is written by Jesse and Carma and is scheduled to go to radio later this month. We have currently released our fourth project "Promises." Produced by David Staton of Song Garden Music in Nashville, TN, "Promises" is what The Schwartz Family is all about. Five of the songs being penned by group members and five songs being penned by the likes of David Staton, Sherry LaFontaine, and Becky Isaacs. The song "Muddy Water" is our latest single to hit the radio (written by Jesse Schwartz and Carma Schwartz Kelley). The Schwartz Family is a Christian Country music group from Sturgis, MI. They are known for their original music mainly written by group member Tobey Schwartz. Tobey has had songs released by groups such as Malachi and The Inspirations. The Inspirations recorded Tobeys song "I Will Praise Him." And in 2005 it was voted one of the top 5 southern gospel songs in southern gospel music and nominated for song of the year at the National Quartet Convention. "One Heart At A Time" also written by Tobey, was The Schwartz Familys first charting single in 2007. The next hit song "Just Goodbye For Now" was penned by Tobeys brother Jesse in 2008. It climbed all the way to number 4 on the Powersource Magazine Bluegrass Charts. Carma Schwartz Kelley, a sister to Tobey and Jesse, wrote a touching song about a miscarriage she had in 2003. "Until I Can" has received Honorable Mention in a Nashville Songwriting competition( http://www.songoftheyear.com/webawards/t/theschwartzfamily.htm) and is being used at pregnancy hotlines and hospitals to help women cope with their personal tragedies.
