Did someone say wacky? This band was rockin in so many ways I can¹t even describe it. The music was something you could definitely move and shake too that¹s for sure, but if you listened to the lyrics you were sure to chuckle. They threw in a lot of crowd participation and what not, that meant lots of fun by all. By the end of their set they had the entire crowd singing along with them.

Having played together since their high school days as the show choir backing band, The Scopes Funky Trial are 3 dudes doing what they love. Having been compared to everyone from The Who to The Flaming Lips to Andy Kaufman (we don't really understand any of these, but hey, we didn't say it), the SFT try to do their own thing without being limited to a genre. We try our hardest to get the crowd as involved in the rocking process as much as possible, many times even leaving the stage with instruments to join the audience. Tackling such hard-hitting issues such as worms, cars, and slap bracelets, The Scopes Funky Trial has what it takes to rock your socks off.
