"Absolutepunk.net"

"Mixing the slightly off-kilter vocal delivery of bands like Say Anything and Weatherbox with an undeniable talent for hooky choruses, The Score are surely a band to know. With a new EP out, titled Steady Fingers!! Steady Fight!!, The Score shouldn't lie in obscurity much longer." - Blake Solomon

"Utica Observer-Dispatch"

"With their thoughtful lyrics and catchy hooks, their pop-rock sound has just enough of both pop and rock to make you want to listen - even if you're well past puberty." - Cassandra Baber

"E-Minor Music Blog"

"Immensely friendly and down to earth, these guys are definitely a breath of fresh air from today's internet bands." - E-Minor Music Blog

Bio

The Score started in 2007 as the full-ensemble project of singer/songwriter Arison Cain. Since then, The Score has worked to reclaim and redefine familiar pop and alternative sounds without the threat of swoopy bangs, insincerity, or lack of street cred.

In 2008, The Score is independently released their full-length debut, "Songs for a Halfway Home". The record was produced by Ace Enders of The Early November and Matthew Corey.
