Bio

With a smooth voice, warm guitar licks, and a tight rhythm... The Scott Hartman Band is hard to ignore. SHB has made a thorough impression on the up and coming Oklahoma City music scene for only being together since early 2010. They have certainly brought their talents to the table and seem to have everybody begging for seconds.

They have been featured on Oklahoma News 9's Chevy Bricktown Showcase and their first single “Always” had 18,000 plays on ourstage.com within the first month alone, landing them in 3rd place out of more than 300 to to open up for John Mayer and 5th out of more than 500 in the male singer-songwriter category. Their gift, their persistence, and their ability to write music is truly contagious and you can hear it while listening.

With influences ranging from Derek Trucks and Radiohead to David Ryan Harris and John Coltrane, SHB's sound has and continues to evolved into a unique combination with attributes from all of these areas.

This 5-piece Oklahoma City based musical group, though they are young, more than make up for it with their talent. They are, Scott Hartman (vocals, guitar), Amy Niles (vocals and keys), Aaron Squirrel (lead guitar, vocals), Chavez Soliz (bass guitar), and Billy Reid (drums and percussion).

Now all intending to graduate from The Academy of Contemporary Music in Oklahoma City, SHB continues to work harder and harder at their craft and they're not something you need to be lacking in your library.
