"Beware!"

“Beware of these boys. They're almost too good for their own good and they're creeping up on us from nowhere.” - Face Magazine

"Guitar World"

"The Screen put heart and bite into a modern rock sound...a sound full of drama and sonic adventure, bristling with melody and bright, emotional lyrics. Intelligent rock-pop with a glistening metal edge." - Ted Drozdowski - Guitar World

"Led Zeppelin"

"...The power of the music starts transporting me. It's lifting me and carrying me and then dropping me in sudden bursts of silence. [I'm reminded of] that hot summer night I first heard Led Zeppelin in Central Park in 1969..." - John Grady - The Portsmouth Herald

Bio

The Screen is like no other band you have ever seen or heard. Their emotive blend of melodic drama, churning hard rock grit, cerebral song writing and in-your-face honesty will force the hair on the back of your neck to stand up while your body involuntarily sways to primal rhythms and ethereal hooks and textures.

Since 2002 The Screen has rapidly grown into one of New England’s most highly acclaimed acts. After bursting onto the New Hampshire Seacoast scene in 2002, The Screen went on to re-release their self-titled debut in 2003 on rising indie label Red Fez Records (www.redfezrecords.com) to widespread critical and popular success.

The Screen set a breakneck pace of touring in 2003 and 2004, racking up numerous “Best Of” awards and nominations while winning new fans along the way. Drawing from new material written and solidified on the road, The Screen has capitalized on short breaks in touring to record their follow-up album. With their sophomore release Antitrust, The Screen have proven themselves a compelling and dynamic band ready to take over the world one venue at a time.
