Bio
Sean Coleman is a very prolific singer, writer, guitarist, bass player, drummer. He has been active in the local Boston rock music scene since the mid eighties. Born in Cambridge and raised in Billerica, Massachusetts, Sean has written and recorded hundreds of songs over the years which have yielded several independently produced albums, where he performs not only vocals, but all instruments, as well.
In September of 2010, he formed The Sean Coleman Band with Hank Rowe, Scott Perkins and Dean Thompson. He is also lead singer and guitarist for the very popular Revere, MA-based cover band, That's That and also performs solo acoustic shows all around the Boston area.
Sean's musical influences range from the British invasion (most notably the Beatles), hard rock, progressive and metal, blues, fusion, pop and he has a deep appreciation for the early to modern jazz greats, classical and country. His style is sometimes synthesis of all of the above, which has made Sean Coleman a very versatile musician.
Whether Sean is belting out a Zeppelin medley on stage or singing a gentle ballad, his performances are mesmerizing. The lyrics from his original songs are deep and insightful and the melodies carry complexities that showcase his artistic talents and creativity
