These Animals

“. . . couldn’t have been more impressed by the abilities that they brought to the stage.” - Sounds That Matter

“. . . there's no denying these boys have something special going on.” -Frostwire

“These Animals are four wild and charming creatures from the urban jungle New York city.” -Aaah Records

New York City indie-pop quartet, These Animals, create a mix of dreamy pop and dance-able rock and roll. The band met while attending art school and began writing together in the early months of 2010. With keen pop sensibilities, their sixties-inspired harmonies sit comfortably on top of shoe-gaze guitar textures and toe-tapping rhythms. Cultivated from influences of friends and the city around them, there is something strangely familiar and reminiscent about These Animals' music.

Four to the Floor

Written By: These Animals

Four to the floor
And two to a penny
It wouldn't be much
But she calls it plenty
All of her life's
Been nothing but trouble
You'll find her sweet heart
Under the rubble

She told me before
Her love's like the weather
When it rains it pours
But the sunshine is better

You don't know what you don't know
Not one of the seeds but I'll grow

She's broken my bones
Hung me from a shoestring
If only she'd known
Just what she was losing

You don't know what you don't know
Not one of the seeds but I'll grow
