These brown eyes is a one woman show, consisting of Kara Mosher playing keyboard, drum machine, loop pedal and vocals. Classical piano layered over hip hop inspired beats, creating a beautiful and haunting sound. A unique and touching performance, taking the listener on a journey into their soul.
Music has been painting colors and light on the canvas of Kara's life since she could reach the radio dial. Learning to play piano when she was 6 years old, playing both trumpet and french horn in her school's Orchestra and Band, later to teach herself keyboard techniques, loop pedaling, drum machining and singing all together, she has an extensive knowledge in music.
Musical influences range from Radiohead, Cat Power, The National, Sigur Ros and classics such as Mozart's Requiem and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. Her music is set apart from other sounds, as it is like nothing you have ever heard before. The journey we've all been searching for is truly inside, and Kara takes us there alongside her own journey into the sounds of her life.
